New York's Autumn of Hope.

In the heart of New York City, as autumn's golden leaves fell and a brisk breeze swept through the air, Refuge America hosted a remarkable event called 'Autumn of Hope.' This event was more than just a celebration of the season; it was a powerful testament to the organization's mission of supporting LGBTQ refugees and changing the narrative surrounding their journeys.

We announced our sponsorship group in New York coming together to sponsor an LGBTQI refugee through the Welcome Corps program. We highlighted the narrative building work we are engaging in with Refugee 25, an impactful inatiative to foster a sense of belonging for LGBTQI refugees. Refugee America is making a profound difference in the lives of those who have faced persecution and discrimination.

As we reflect on the 'Autumn of Hope event, we're reminded of the importance of supporting grassroots organizations and the incredible potential for change when individuals come together to make a positive impact.

Refuge America continues to be a source of hope and inspiration for LGBTQ refugees, and it's through the generosity of donors and the dedication of volunteers that our mission thrives. Together, we can change the narrative and help LGBTQ refugees find their place in a more compassionate world.

One of the central themes of 'Autumn of Hope' was the importance of changing the narrative surrounding LGBTQ refugees.
